Proprietor's Speech 5TH END OF SESSION AND AWARD-WINNING CEREMONY, 15th July 2017.
Our Distinguished Guests, Administrators, Parents, Out-going students, Staff Members, Ladies and Gentlemen. I am honored and elated to welcome you all to the 5th End-of-Session and Award-Winning Ceremony of MODEST STANDARD SCHOOLS, holding this 15h day of July 2017.
We, as an institution, remain grateful to the Almighty God who made it possible to witness another year of brilliant achievement in the history of MODEST of excellence.
I am indeed happy that, today, we are celebrating the graduating students who, for these years, have been under our tutelage.
Today we also give recognition to the well deserving students and pupils of the lower years who for their excellent performance will be given various awards.
These hard working, articulate young people are a credit to the school and an inspiration to us all. It is through such achievements that we are clearly able to see the skill, high expectation and commitment of our esteemed staff and students and these award winners are a true representation of everything we stand for here and a great examples of what we hope from our students.

MODEST STANDARD SCHOOLS as a Co-Educational institution and Sixth Form College (i.e. JSS1-JSS3 to SS1-SS3) was founded in 2012 in response to the demand and educational needs of our operation environment. Our Nursery/KG & Primary/Basic 1-6 Arms fully came on stream in September 2014.
To provide Qualitative, Affordable, & Globally competitive Education using Modern Technology; To develop Mental, Spiritual, Social & Technical capacity in Future Leaders -Our Students.
To become a global-best Qualitative Educational Service Provider reputed for nurturing Innovative & Superior Leaders.
To leverage on our formidable Parent-Teachers Forum -PTF (which comprises of seasoned staff and esteemed parents) to stimulate creativity in a total child through sustainable environment and unparalleled Technology.
My job is incomplete without some words to our grandaunt.
I need to remind you that you should make the best use of life lessons you learned MODEST. Your name once built should be your priceless jewel. “A good name is better than Gold or Diamond”
If you lose Gold & Diamond, you will secure much more in due time...but If your name is lost everything is lost.
Remember to uphold the good name of your school. For the SS3 Graduand, we shall expect you, in the shortest possible time, to register yourselves in the higher citadel of Learning (Universities). Plan to focus on the success keys by taking the Daily M-O-D-E-S-T steps. We need you to assist in pursuing our excellence vision wherever you go in life.
A parent once asked us during a telephone conversation that “do you buy the teacher mouth and words in the market, so why should you ask them for the child’s school fees or increase school fees” ...I marvel!
We observed a common trends in this part of the globe where luxury takes precedence over child education.
Therefore, we encourage parents to please take the education of your children with utmost priority above mundane things of life (societal occasion).
We advise you to believe in your dream and pursue it tenaciously until it is achieved and even your enemies cooperate with you...; never allow anybody to truncate your ambition.
Let us listen to this riddles (which ensued between the Proprietor and the an SMS Sender) as we enjoin you to come with us while we promise you all it takes to take your children to the MODEST of "humility in Spirit & Manner". Which is best for us & our students to "achieve" the "highest height".
SMS Sender: Dear proprietor, I'm surprised that you don't know the students in your school! several embarrassing SMS have been sent to me! be informed that none of my children/wards is in your school as yet; I merely made some enquiries there sometimes ago. please keep your SMS till we get there. god bless you all, Amen.

Ladies and Gentlemen, this is the 5th year of MODEST history. This is the 2nd VALEDICTORY day. I call on everyone to join us to thank God for the fruitful 5 years. Looking forward we see challenges but at the same time a lot of opportunities. I count on your cooperation as we strive to take this beloved institution to greater heights.
